Wear it like Erin
My heart skipped a beat this morning when I saw these beautiful images by Erin of Calivintage. They were taken for a recent AW12 collaboration with Swedish Hasbeens. Not only are the Wintery backdrops simply breathtaking the clever cosy outfits she put together are exactly what I want to be wrapped in when it's blistery and cold outside. The good news is I will easily be able to re-create these looks as she is wearing a few of my favourite Nadinoo pieces from our Sounds of the woods collection. I just need to find a Swedish Hasbeen stockist near by to grab a couple of these shoesies to complete the look, I think these are my favourite. Be expecting an outfit post soon with my take on this Autumnal colour palette.

Erin is wearing Pixie's Trusty Pinafore which is still in stock and Pixie's Bird a day shirt which we have available in the blue, both styles are almost out of stock though so hurry if you feel inspired to have a go yourself. For all the other lovely items head over to her blog where she has kindly linked each item and their stockist (even the tights!).

A change in the air
It's funny to think that just a week ago we were skipping around in our Summer wears. The weather has definitely made up it's mind that we are moving into Autumn, the temperature has started to drop and so have the leaves. I'm feeling ready for the change this year, eager to wrap up and keep my bump cosy and warm. Things have been moving along nicely and we are already at the 20 week half way mark! Our little one is now happily kicking away for anyone who cares to have a feel, we got pretty emotional last weekend when the Mr felt it kick for the first time. It was so nice to share this great feeling with him and play games as it responds to our voices and touch. On Friday we will get the most exciting news of all when we go for our final scan, they will hopefully be able to reveal to us if it's a boy or a girl! Although I'm dying to know I'm also sad that this time of mystery will be over and it will all become much more real from then on. I've had a feeling from early on that I'm carrying a girl but there is every chance it's a boy. What do you think?

A little something to share..
I have to admit I've been a little vague in my recent posts and that's because I've been hiding a little secret that I'm now ready to share with you.. In February next year there will hopefully be a little addition to the Nadinoo family, we will be welcoming a little baby Nadinoo into our world. I'm already 18 weeks along and time feels like it's flying by. My bump has grown double in the past couple of weeks which has made me feel well and truly pregnant, especially as the little one has started to make it's presence known with mini kicks and moves at surprising moments during the day. I thought it would be nice to share little snippets on the blog of my pregnancy journey, nothing too gory or detailed I promise! As I have enjoyed following many bloggers over the years share their 40 week adventure, I thought a few of you might like to see how I get on. I think for me it's been nice to see ladies with such a strong identity take on an even bigger roll and still retain what made them so special. I hope I too can gain these new qualities without loosing any of the old ones that made me, ME!
This is my first attempt at dressing my bump for evening drinks with friends, obviously it will be mocktails and cranberry juices for me. As my body has changed so quickly I don't yet know what I can still fit into from my old wardrobe (without looking too comical). When I re-fabricated the Darling dress from the SS11 collection for the Print a day series I tried on an X-Small almost as a joke, however I was pleasantly surprised! I think it's still flattering the way the original was with the sweeping neckline and hip skimming shape but with a little extra that makes it look quite charming. I love it so much I think I might try it another print for the print a day series, any ideas which?.. As the silhouette was adapted from an original 60's pattern it really makes me feel like a lady from that era + the mini baby bump of course. I can't wait to find out what other silhouettes this new shape can pull off!
