A belated Happy New Year!

Merry Chrimbo & New Year

I have been meaning to send out well wishes for the New Year but as always I've been busy working away at the machines. Hope you all enjoyed a great New Years Eve and have made some winning new years resolutions. I have to say I'm really pleased with how I've already put a few into action, the first being to finally re-ignite my love for photography. This pic above was taken by your's truly in our Manchester apartment, I'm still in love with our enchanted tree and refuse to take it down until he begins to look a little sad. I was lucky enough to be handed down this darling vintage camera and have been snapping away like crazy ever since to discover all that it can do. It is certainly a work in progress but I hope this year to share with you more of what takes place behind the scenes of Nadinoo, so you can see all the work and love that goes into each and every garment.

Other new years resolutions have resulted in a Rock it belly dancing class, swimming lessons and less chips from Linda's cafe. Would love to hear what you have in store for 2011!

It is a very nice photo... and a really beautiful tree too!

I also like the collection of greeting cards near the lamp.

It is really a cosy and warm atmosphere, I understand that you don't want to take the tree away!

Which camera did you use?

Wish you a very happy New Year too!

Hello there Al,

Thank you for your kind warm compliments. I need all the encouragement I can get at this early stage!

The camera is an Olympus OM10 with a 50mm lens. Hope that helps :)

Hugs,

Nadia x

This picture is beautiful, you created such a relaxing atmosphere and I definitely look forward to see your behind the scenes photos.
My resolution for the new year is getting back in a regular workout routine, I never minded too much before, but next summer will be my first blogging summer and I must get rid of all the delicious Christmas sweets I've been eating during the holidays ;)
I wish you to have a lovely New Year, Nadia. Keep up the beautiful work!

Happy new year, Nadia! It'll be great to see more photos from you, I think one of my favorite posts from last year was the one where Tommy shot all those great photos in your studio. I love seeing little peeks into sewing rooms like that, and I'm sure you're going to share some great things from your life.
