A change in the air

16/09/2012

It's funny to think that just a week ago we were skipping around in our Summer wears. The weather has definitely made up it's mind that we are moving into Autumn, the temperature has started to drop and so have the leaves. I'm feeling ready for the change this year, eager to wrap up and keep my bump cosy and warm. Things have been moving along nicely and we are already at the 20 week half way mark! Our little one is now happily kicking away for anyone who cares to have a feel, we got pretty emotional last weekend when the Mr felt it kick for the first time. It was so nice to share this great feeling with him and play games as it responds to our voices and touch. On Friday we will get the most exciting news of all when we go for our final scan, they will hopefully be able to reveal to us if it's a boy or a girl! Although I'm dying to know I'm also sad that this time of mystery will be over and it will all become much more real from then on. I've had a feeling from early on that I'm carrying a girl but there is every chance it's a boy. What do you think?

Nadinoo and Orla Kiely in one outfit - perfect! That dress is SO pretty, another thing to add to my wishlist. Autumn is definitely my favourite season!

The first baby kick, I can't begin to imagine how strange that must feel. What's that old wive's tale, weight at the front means you're carrying a boy, but weight all around & hips means it's a girl? (Or is it the other way around?!) Best of luck with your final scan!

Boy. Definitely. I always have such a good hunch about these things. But let us know asap! Whatever he/she is, her mama has great style.

Friday is going to be such a crucial day for both of us! While I'll be panicking getting last minute things ready for the wedding you'll begin to know more about your little one, so sweet and exciting! I'll be thinking of you and look forward to know if I was right ;) Fingers crossed xxx
(By the way, it's starting to get chillier here too and I can't wait to slip into my cosy Woodland dress again!)
