Soup Kitchen, Tennis and Nadinoo

If you follow us on Twitter you will already know how excited I was that Tennis were playing in Manchester Friday night. It feels like such a long time since I was down in London at the Hoxton bar meeting with the band and getting to know the lovely Alaina. As soon as I discovered they would be visiting us in our home town (Thanks to 6Music) I knew it would be a great opportunity to see them again and dress Alaina in yet another Nadinoo. It was so nice to catch up with them and talk about how things have progressed since the launch of their new album Young and Old which has made a huge impact in the US (recently playing on Letterman).
The show itself on Friday was good fun, held in the basement of our much frequented Soup Kitchen, it felt as if they were playing in our living room. Alaina's vocals were even more beautiful than on recordings and the band gave each songs a rockier feel that was much appreciated by the Manchester crowd. I danced like a crazy lady and sang along to each song while snapping happily away to give you a little hint of the night.
It has to be said that Alaina looks yummy in her polka dot Untie me dress, it was tricky to find a more fitting silhouette to make for her. The pretty blue fabric is a little teaser from our upcoming 2012 collection, I hope it gets you excited!..

I'm already looking forward to catching up with this cute Denver based duo and getting my next Tennis fix, they are as charming as they come across in interviews :)
If you missed the Best fit session I posted in March, take a looksee here and enjoy Alaina singing in our Moon & Stars dress!

Aw, I love Soup Kitchen! I've only been to Manchester twice, and we went here both times for lunch. Delicious! Love the material of that top.

Just stumbled on your blog and while scrolling down I got very excited at seeing your post on Tennis - I was at that gig in Hoxton!! I also saw their first London gig at the Lexington where they played all their old stuff. I'm a big fan :)

I don't like this expression that much but OMG!! I'm in love with Tennis. When I woke up it's my first job to listen to their song. I can't believe I found them on your blog. What a coincidence!!!
